The Kopparberg Urban Forest will bring street art, live music, traditional and contemporary Swedish food from Fika and – presumably – a whole load of delicious, fruity cider to Dalston on Wednesday 2nd July, for what promises to be a month of “delight for all the senses.”
Don’t like cider? Don’t panic. The ‘Bryggeri’ is also home to some of Sweden’s best-selling beers, and these lesser known, Kopparberg counterparts will be available at the bespoke woodland bar throughout the festival. Cocktail shakers will serve up East London classics such as ‘The Dalston Thing’: a rather summery blend of melon, lemon, dark rum and Ting.
British and Scandinavian acts dominate the line-up, and we’re particularly excited about folksy, festival favourite Lucy Rose on Sunday 6th July and the Little Dragon DJ set on Saturday 19th. See the full list here.
Partnering with London charity and venue The Bootstrap Company, Kopparberg will help facilitate work that supports East London creatives and social microenterprises. £1 from the sale of each Dalston Thing cocktail at The Kopparberg Urban Forest will be donated direct to the community-focused Dalston Bridge charity.
Entry is completely free and for over 18s only.
