West London based experiential dining duo, The Wandering Chef, have teamed up with Pernod Absinthe to create their next pop up event as part of their residency at La Maison des Artistes: A Dance with the Green Fairy.
After the sell-out success of Asian-inspired Opium Nights, where guests enjoyed dishes such as soft shell crab and ‘Woking’ duck, The Wandering Chef will be transporting their guests to the mischievous, surreal, and psychedelic world of the Green Fairy inspired by the era of the Moulin Rouge with their latest creation.
The food will be modern twists on great French Classics. Expect seven spectacular courses including oysters and absinthe fountains, Torn Striploin Steak with Roast Garlic and Truffle Celeriac Puree, as well as seriously sexy macaroons for dessert. Guests will also be treated to burlesque performances and entertainment throughout the evening.
Known for their unconventional, playful and debaucherous evenings, A Dance With The Green Fairy seemed a perfect choice for The Wandering Chef’s latest subject.
“The Epoch of the mystical Absinthe Fairy and all that she represents:
the magnificent, opulent, tremendous, stupendous, gargantuan, bedazzlement, a sensual ravishment…and that’s just the food.”
The cost of a ticket includes a welcome cocktail on arrival, and entry to the exclusive La Maison des Artistes nightclub in South Kensington where A Dance With The Green Fairy is held, so guests can enjoy the after party into the night once the banquet is over.
Tickets are £50pp and entitle the diner to a welcome cocktail, club entry for the after party, seven course feast and burlesque show
Tickets are limited and available from The Wandering Chef Website:
