Deliciously Ella will be opening her third dining venue in the heart of beautiful, leafy Herne Hill in South London. Located on Milkwood Road, outside Herne Hill train station, The Kitchen Counter will serve brunches, lunches and light dinners alongside a range of healthy snacks.
With some of her infamous vegan dishes on offer, this is the perfect community spot for the people of South London and beyond. They’ll be offering a selection of breakfast options, from porridge bowls and freshly made smoothies, to sweetcorn fritters with baked beans & smashed avocado. For lunch and dinner, a selection of delicious, plant-based salads will be on offer, as well as soups and a range of sweets, including the signature MaE cake and the popular fudgy brownie. There will also be a wide range of organic cold-pressed juices, smoothies and hot drinks.
As with all her food and recipes, everything served in the café will be plant based and wheat, dairy and refined sugar-free. After the success of The MaE Deli on Seymour Place and MaE on Weighhouse Street, we can expect more natural, honest food from The Kitchen Counter and it will also be a great spot to stock up on their delicious and healthy energy balls!
The Kitchen Counter will be a bright and airy space, able to seat 23 guests. It looks set to become the new hot-spot in South London for healthy eating aficionados or anyone with a love of good honest food.
