Fashion brand Superdry has teamed up with Swedish music artist Zara Larsson to launch a killer range for this season titled Icons of Style.
The 22-year-multi-platinum selling artist fronts the campiagn, modeling some of the standout pieces including a red metallic biker jacket, a space-worthy silver bomber and slick glossy padded puffer coat.
Superdry said its aim was to ‘reimagine’ classic coverups and give them an up-to-date edge.
The Icons of Style collection is divided into five lines, including Original & Vintage, Code, Studios, X and Sport Performance.
Some of our favourite pieces include the red metallic biker – as modelleed by Larrson – from the Original & Vintage range and the Arianna Wool Coat from the Sudios line.
Both are classically-cut pieces that will never go out of style.
But they feature some fun detailing.
For instance, the tailored coat has leather on collar and roomy pockets, while the jacket features zips and studs galore.
But the range is not just for women, and there’s a range of fab pieces for men too, with jackets, football jerseys and plaid shirts crafted with the same attention to detail.
On the shoe front, there are tennis shoes for men and classic basketball sneakers made with vegan-friendly fabrics for both sexes.
Superdry said that Larrson was picked as the frontwomen as she ’embodies the essence of our 4-style aesthetics, blending together youth, energy, and a sense of positive disruption’.
Commenting on the new range Superdry’s creative director Phill Dickinson said: ‘Jackets are the statement piece in any look you are puling together.
‘Superdry has been creating some of the best quality jacket for years.
‘We have an amazing design studio at Superdry, and this, is one of our strongest product categories, I have a few of our iconic styles in my wardrobe.
‘And for me, the coolest thing about the jackets beyond the quality, the premium materials, colour runs and detailing is that anyone can style these up to suit their personal style and look really strong.’
