Silhouette, one of the world leaders in luxury eyewear, has unveiled a new range titled SUN20.
The six new designs in the 70s-inspired collection combine a lightweight design with comfort and sun protection.
Here we detail the latest models from the Austrian sunglasses brand with spring underway and summer around the corner…
Titan Accent Shades
In two eye-catching variations for women and one unisex design, the Titan Accent Shades reignite a distinctive ‘70s flair.
Inspired by the wings of the giant blue morpho butterfly, gently curved lenses are brought to life by beautifully styled accents, whilst being seamlessly contrasted with Silhouette’s iconic featherlight temples.
Taking Silhouette’s renowned rimless chassis, the Titan Accent Shades have been enhanced by striking cut-out outer rings, adding a touch of nostalgic charm.
For women, an oversized round frame has been introduced, complemented by a soft nose bridge. A wider shape for women has also been introduced for 2020; an angular subtle cat-eye silhouette.
Feminine colours are available in the form of a refreshing glossy rose as well as a new tricolour green whilst a polarised grey and brown gradient offer a more classic look.
A unisex style has also been added to the range in the form of a classic wayfarer style with a flat-bottomed lens for a dramatic masculine look.
A polarised grey and classic brown gradient bring a traditional ‘70s feel while a new tricolour green shade and gold mirrored effect give a stylish look for summer 2020.
Accent Shades
Extending 2019’s well-loved range of Accent Shades, SUN20 sees two unisex shapes added to the collection: a striking aviator and playful panto frames.
The two timeless models feature bevelled lenses for a fresh take on a classic ‘70s style, ranging from soft pastel shades to sophisticated monochromes to cater for a range of tastes and styles.
First up, a double bridged aviator has been introduced to have wearers dreaming of summer getaways. With a flat-top and oversized lens, the aviator Accent Shades evoke retro glamour in a masculine polarised grey, brown gradient, tricolour green effect and a classic grey gradient.
A firm-favourite panto lens shape has also been applied to the Accent Shades model, offering the perfect accessory for both men and women. Again, classic polarised greys and browns and a grey gradient have been brought to life by Silhouette’s new lens shade for the summer, tricolour lavender.
Titan Breeze
Finally, Silhouette’s renowned aviator frame, the Titan Breeze, has returned with an updated aesthetic for 2020. Offering a minimalistic and elegant design, the frames feature a 6-base curve and a stylish double bridge to make a
statement this summer. In a timeless fashion, the classic aviators are available in a traditional blue or brown or two sophisticated shade variations of grey.
