If you’re looking for somewhere relaxed to stay in London – more personal than a hotel but more organised than an Airbnb then I’d recommend the SACO apartments.
I recently checked out their Holborn complex and it made for the perfect staycation.
Their two-bedroom apartments are ideal for a family or group of friends, with two bathrooms, a kitchen and a generously-sized living room area.
We checked into the apartment on a Monday night and it proved to be a top place for exploring the city.
It’s just a five-minute walk to Holborn tube station and there are a range of attractions on the doorstep including the British Museum and the West End.
After returning from dinner in Mayfair later that night we relaxed in the living room, which featured large windows, a TV and simple chic furnishings – before hitting the hay.
The bed in our room was super comfortable, with a soft mattress and crisp linens, and I slept like a dream.
The apartment was also super quiet and well-insulated from any city noise.
In the morning, sunlight flooded through the window as I unenthusiastically prized myself from the bed to head to work.
The bathrooms in the apartment were light and airy, with white tiles and white towels.
After taking a shower and indulging in some of the miniature L’Occitane bath products on offer, I got ready to head out while leaving my friend to sleep in.
Unfortunately, I didn’t’ have time to indulge in the breakfast treats as all of the SACO apartments come stocked with a little hamper of goods for the morning.
Our selection included servings of Alpen, Weetabix, porridge, chocolate chip cookies and sweet Tiptree spreads.
I’ve previously checked out the SACO apartments at Mansion House in London and they are also finished to the same exacting standard.
The company also has serviced apartments in other locations around the world, and they’re definitely worth checking out.
They are fuss-free and easy, with reasonable pricing to boot.
