It was a sold-out show for a reason.
Guy Gerber’s recent outing at London’s Great Suffolk Street Warehouse kept us out dancing all night.
Hazy memories of the dance floor, lights flashing and tropical decor filled our minds as we got lost in the evening.
The energy was insane as we toe-tapped our way through the gaping venue from room-to-room meeting an eclectic mix of good-hearted souls as we went.
Guy’s solo show at Koko in November also completely sold out in advance, proving the Israeli electro DJ is in high demand.
Others to take to the decks last month at the Great Suffolk Street showdown included All Day I Dream founder Lee Burridge, New York ‘DJ’s DJ’ Bill Patrick, creative techno du Acid Mondays and rising London-based talent Bas Ibellini.
After the success of his Supplement Facts imprint, in 2014 Guy started an entirely new project: RUMORS.
Guy’s RUMORS sets have become the stuff of legend among those in the know, with the parties consistently attracting a clued up and international crowd.
The event series has expanded since its last London party; Guy’s RUMORS have spread to Tel Aviv, Sardinia, Mykonos and LA in addition to regular slots at Art Basel Miami and BPM Mexico.
The unique concept has previously led to appearances from the likes of DJ Harvey, Bob Moses, Red Axes, Sasha, Dubfire, Cassy and many more.
Keep your ears and eyes open for the next shindig. We certainly will!
