RANDALL AND AUBIN: Hidden treasure for fresh seafood and grill from the finest, Soho

It’s all about location location and placed on Brewer Street in the middle of Soho lays a hidden Gem you have to visit called Randall and Aubin. Know about it? It has had a strong following for people in the know and now i am part of it!

Once a family-owned butcher shop that sourced the very best produce to be found in Paris and Great Britain the restaurant today retains all of the shop’s original features.

The venue interior has huge windows looking out on trendy Soho streets where you never get bored watching the world pass by. Original Victorian butchers tiles clad the walls decorated with beautiful black and white photographs and articles about Randall and Aubin that have been collected since it was first Established in 1911. Not to miss a shiny disco ball spinning in the middle of the room and slight upbeat Electronic music playing in the background.

The Clientele is very mixed, from the young fashionable slick to the city professional.
The Staff doesn’t tiptoe around, fast service and professional smiley faces are at your service. The restaurant has a buzzy atmosphere even on a quiet day.

The Head Chef Ed Baines carefully selects fresh Sea Food and finest Meat for the grill.
The tradition of choosing Best Products in Paris and London for Half a century reflects on the quality fresh crustacean, fish and meet served.

First up on our recommendations is their collection of Oysters; English, Scottish, Irish and French Oysters served with the original Red Vinegar and shallots dressing on the side, we also have been told to add a little champagne to the oysters the give is a extra kick-great start.

The second choice is the Tuna Carpaccio with raw salad, anoki mushrooms, sesame and soy dressing.
Tender tuna melts in in your mouth and sesame and soy sauce gives it the extra tang for the seafood lover. A taste-bomb of a plate, not to miss.

Grilled queen Scallops with pancetta in caper lemon and garlic butter served in their own shell followed next, a marvelous combination and shell licking good.

Crunchy Calamari fritters with a hint of spicy Pimiento salsa and a drizzle of fresh lime.
Calamari are not easy to make but when you get them right they are delicious.

Next up one of my favorite Roasted Langoustines with garlic butter and Zucchini fritters
delish, delish. Make sure you have napkins at hand as they are all hands on!

Last but not least at all the famous Lobster roasted with garlic butter,
a good size lobster, the finest and a meal for champions.

I will definitely be back to explore this menu into depth.
An perfect place to have a civilized tasty lunch or a romantic date all day long. A must visit for central London fine dinning.

Randall and Aubin offer takeaway delivery and catering service, with the aim of bringing restaurant dining directly to your door. Bookings can be made only Monday to Friday between 12pm – 5pm lunchtime and Sunday Brunch between 12pm – 5pm!

See you there.
