New Years Eve is so passé. Queues at the bar, big fees on the door, not to mention all the ugly bastards that haven’t pulled all year giving it one last ditch attempt.
Don’t put yourself through it – why not do New Years Day instead?
It’s long been proven that day parties are better. You get the have an early night as well feeling like a naughty tipsy 17 years old – because it the ruddy day!
Our favourite disco-pub in Dalston, The Three Compasses will be rocket fuel launching you into 2015 with The Breakfast Martini (a stylish blend Babička Vodka with a hit of Cointreau, grapefruit, orange and marmalade) bound to start your year with a bang. More traditional January-ists might be on the hunt for some fruit/veg to start knocking that blasted scurvy on the head – you’re in luck – The Three Compasses have come up with the Babička Bellini, which is an aromatic tipple combining Kaffir lime leaves, lychees, ginger and apple juice and not forgetting the secret ingredient – Champagne.
If you were daring enough to tackle the mêlée of New Years Eve then you will surly be in search of something to aid your recovery, thankfully they have thought of that too. The Three Compasses will be hosting a virtual hug of a party with brioche BLT’s, soothing beats and comfort zones.
Weary troops will be revived with fiery Makers Mark Bloody Mary’s and a jump-start all day brunch menu from French American diner pro’s Le Bun, served alongside a series of DJ’s to soothe the way into 2015.
