London’s latest shoegazing quintet, Whistlejacket, have announced details of their debut EP to be released on 24th November on a run of just 100 cassettes. Having supported the likes of The Orwells and Yuck, recent headline gigs have seen Whistlejacket come into their dangerously immersive own.
Collating two new tracks with previously acclaimed singles, Whistlejacket have been busy creating blurry 90s riffs and submerging vocals that lull us quietly into reverie. Hear ‘Mr Melon’ below.
See them live on 20th November, with an EP launch date announced at The Scotch of St James. Advanced copies of the EP will be available to purchase four days before it’s general release.
