On Tuesday 16th February The Handbook run by the magical lot at Bourne & Hollingsworth will be inviting guests to taste lust in a glass: Gardet Champagnes.
The B&H Handbook is presented live in the Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings… as a kind of living coffee table book/lifestyle guide, hosted by industry experts. The series of discussions are very informal and interactive, which means guests get to embrace different drinks at each event and they leave with a deeper knowledge of, greater intrigue for, the studied spirit… and of course they leave knowing how to use it at home!
For over a century, Gardet Champagnes have been synonymous with quality and next weeks tasting will be just this! The evening will explore how the modern House of Gardet at Chigny-les-Roses have managed to use the best of traditional and modern techniques to create their delicate champagne.
Taking place actually under the leafy B&H restaurant/bar the event will be in the subterranean clubroom aptly named Below & Hidden. This is an intimate space which provides the perfect stage for inventive cocktails and unique brands to come alive in.
As either a protest against valentines or and ode to a valentines past the evening will provide the perfect panacea.
