If you love a bit of classical music and delicious food, then tune into The Ivy Kensington Brassiere for its latest offering. The perfectly appointed restaurant has crafted a special menu around this year’s BBC Proms. We checked into the eatery on a Sunday evening at 6pm before an 8pm concert at the Royal Albert Hall. With it being a warm evening, we decided to take a table in the tucked-away terrace area. To kick things off, we decided to try the two musical inspired cocktails. The Strawberry Symphony features a delicious mix of Chase vodka, strawberry syrup, lemon juice, watermelon cube...

It was a Thursday afternoon and I was casually skinning a deer in the depths of Cornwall with a cool breeze blowing and birds crowing from the trees. I'd been invited to get a taste of 'Filson Life' by the Alaskan outfitter, which is headquartered in Seattle, Washington, but has two stores in London. Before I landed in the Kent countryside - just a 30 minute ride from London Victo...

Sat on the fish restaurant's newly-opened summer terrace we could watch the madness from a safe distance. Drunk revellers passed us by, interspersed with smartly-dressed theatre-goers. J Sheekey is one of my favourite central spots for seafood but I hadn't been for years. On my return, I was delighted to find nothing much had changed other than the re-vamped terrace area. Everything is done to perfection. Old-school character dressed with a dash of modern-day pizzazz...
