'People can't get enough of them. One group of men came for lunch and they kept on ordering them one after another!' I was at The Ned - the wining and dining emporium which is a must-visit for residents and visitors alike to London for its stunning interiors - and I'd landed at Zobler's Deli & Diner. The 'them' our waiter was referring to, was one of the New York-inspired eatery's most popular dishes; spiced ox cheek donuts. Swept up by his enthusiasm, we put the savoury donuts on our order list. Also to start, we opted for the blistered padron peppers with a spicy dip. For mai...

My friend and I were left silently in awe after a recent visit to the smart New York-styled spot, located off the Strand. Our knifes sliced through our steaks with ease and the pink meat was dripping with flavour. When our Greek waiter Spiros served up the giant hunks of beef I didn't think I would manage the whole thing. But it was all so delicious, I swiftly polished it off with my knife and fork making fast work. I'd ordered a 680g Sign...

As a keen traveller I also fell in love with her designs, which showcase city maps in a glamorous way. From scarves to dresses, Azin - who also runs an architecture business (I don't think she ever sleeps!) - crafts aerial shots of cities from around the world into beautiful objects. I've worn several of her pieces, including the Tehran dress and Los Angeles gown, and each time I've felt a million dollars in the colourful silk cr...

Was the first thing that all my friends said when I told them I'd checked into a hotel in the heart of Manhattan, where it never gets dark due to the neon glow and the streets are interspersed with men dressed in Muppets costumes - not to mention a Naked Cowboy strumming his guitar. However, The Time Hotel in New York isn't your average Times Square tourist / business haunt, with hard beds and greying carpet tiles. I was suprised to find this place is refreshingly hip, with a sense of character that's playfully slick. After battling my way past Muppets - unfortunately no...

The restaurant has been open in NYC since 21 January 2015 and continues to deliver Rainer Becker's vision, passion, heritage and innovation that characterises Japanese cuisine.

Hotly tipped to come in first this year, two Irish lads, founder Sean Muldoon and bar manager Jack McGarry went over to the Big Apple with one goal: to open the best bar in the world while putting Irish whiskey on the map. Having only been open a few months when the voting took place for 50 Best Bars, it’s a massive achievement to have come in 5th. We caught up with the boys the next day at the Jameson Trends Lab. Here’s what they had to say...

Perhaps you remember the episode in the final season of 'Sex and the City' when Carrie and Samantha try to blag their way into the restaurant and Samantha explains to the stone faced girl at the door that they both 'are kind of somebody'. What it took in the end, was for Carrie to give the receptionist (apparently the most powerful woman in town) an emergency tampon in the bathroom, but it goes to show how exclusive the restaurant is. The original restaurant was designed to resemble a Parisian brass...
