EKOCYCLE – the project that aims to push the boundaries on more sustainable fashion and design – has launched at an exclusive Shop-in-Shop in Harrods.
Collaborating with some of the world’s most desirable brands (including adidas and Globe-Trotter), EKOCYCLE has created a lifestyle collection that’s driven by the ambition of using recycled materials to create exclusive consumer products.
The brainchild of Coca-Cola and will.i.am, the brand seeks to educate and empower us to opt for more sustainable lifestyle choices by upcycling everyday household items into womenswear, menswear, accessories, home interiors and even bicycles. The current range challenges our preconceived notions of products made from recycled goods, presenting the consumer with a wearable, cutting-edge selection of luxury pieces.
EKOCYCLE brand co-creator will.i.am actively encourages “everyone to seek out items that use recycled materials like those featured in the EKOCYCLE products at Harrods.” Hopefully the launch of this exciting luxury brand with sustainibility at its core will do just that.
