This Summer, cosy up next to the grave of Rudolph Valentino or Jayne Mansfield and watch classic movies in the final resting place of many of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
The Hollywood Forever Cemetery is one of the oldest in Los Angeles and is very much still active. It’s eerie but romantic appearance has served as a background setting to various movies and TV series and its variety of weathered old tombstones and newer, grander monuments makes it uniquely picturesque.
From screen-stars, to writers, to some of the biggest producers of all time, Hollywood Forever is one huge post-life party for Hollywood’s greatest. Sitting above the burial place of the people who shaped the movie industry into what it is today, watching the films they created, is really a special experience.
In a fitting setting for a night of classic movies, enjoy the long Californian evenings and stretch out on the grassy lawns of a cemetery where Hollywood really does live forever. See their summer schedule here.
