The Embassy of Brazil, food artist Simone Mattar and contemporary-culture video magazine Crane.TV have teamed up to create Boteco Brasil Soho. Set to be London’s cultural hub focussed around food and football during the World Cup, Boteco Brasil Soho will allow guests to watch the matches while being immersed in a hothouse of gastronomic and cultural activity.

At the heart of the experience is culinary designer Simone Mattar, who has created imaginative dishes to be enjoyed during the matches including Dry Aged Beef with Brazilian Farofa Crumble, Crab Cake served with Spicy Pineapple & Ginger Jam and Língua de Boi – Marinated Beef Tongue with Tamarind Sauce and Caramelised Banana.

Thanks to two of Brazil’s brightest creative minds, curators Cid Blanco, who curated Casa Brasil during the 2012 Olympic games, and Oskar Metsavaht, founder of Brazilian luxury fashion brand Oshlen, Boteco Brasil Soho will surround visitors with music, art and design, taking the World Cup experience beyond the Beautiful Game.

Open daily from Thursday 12th June
Evening Games & Entertainment: 4pm–‐1am
